April 1922 Takao Tekko, Ltd. founded in the city of Tanabe in Wakayama prefecture by Seisuke Takao
March 1945 Automobile parts plant constructed in Kamiji-cho, Higashi-Nari Ward in Osaka; company begins manufacturing automobile parts
June 1952 Company reincorporated as Takao Kinzoku Kogyo
April 1961 Mino plant constructed in Mino, Osaka
June 1965 Osaka plant shut down and operations shifted to Mino plant as part of company reorganization
November 1966 Shiga plant constructed in Tsuchiyama-cho, Koka-Gun, Shiga Prefecture
January 1967 Company begins working as supplier for Daido Kogyo Co., Ltd
September 1967Company begins working as supplier for Honda Motors Co., Ltd
May 1968 Work completed at Shiga plant on major new pressing line
